Job Description
The Police Constable (Trainee) position is a government role under the Kerala Police Department. Selected candidates will undergo prescribed training and will be responsible for assisting in maintaining law and order, protecting public safety, preventing crime, and supporting police operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain law and order and assist in ensuring public safety.
- Assist senior police officers in daily police duties.
- Perform patrolling duties in assigned areas.
- Respond to emergency situations and public complaints.
- Assist in preventing and detecting criminal activities.
- Support crowd management and security arrangements.
- Assist during public events, festivals, and important functions.
- Maintain proper records and reports related to assigned duties.
- Assist with traffic management when required.
- Provide support during investigations and other police operations.
- Follow departmental rules, regulations, and instructions.
- Participate in mandatory physical and professional training programs.
