Job Description
The Staff Nurse Grade II position is a healthcare role responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in government hospitals and healthcare facilities. The selected candidate will assist doctors, monitor patients, administer prescribed treatments, maintain medical records, and ensure quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients according to medical instructions.
- Monitor patients’ health conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medicines and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
- Assist doctors during examinations and medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Collect and record patient information and medical history.
- Provide basic emergency care when required.
- Assist with wound dressing and other nursing procedures.
- Maintain hygiene and infection-control standards.
- Educate patients and their families about healthcare and treatment procedures.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of medical equipment.
- Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow hospital policies, nursing procedures, and government health guidelines.
- Perform duties during shifts, including night shifts, as assigned.
