Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester Intern to join our team in Malappuram. The candidate will assist the QA team in testing web and mobile applications, identifying defects, and ensuring that applications meet quality and functional requirements. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in software testing and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in testing web and mobile applications.
- Understand application requirements and prepare test scenarios.
- Create and execute test cases based on functional requirements.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, and UI testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Re-test applications after bugs are fixed.
- Verify that reported issues are properly resolved.
- Perform cross-browser and responsive testing.
- Assist in testing application forms, links, navigation, and user workflows.
- Maintain test documentation and testing reports.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to resolve issues.
- Participate in the overall software quality assurance process.
Mandatory Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Understanding of Manual Testing.
- Ability to write and execute test cases.
- Basic knowledge of Bug/Defect Life Cycle.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Good to Have Skills
- Basic knowledge of API Testing.
- Familiarity with Postman.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
- Basic understanding of Automation Testing.
- Knowledge of Selenium is an advantage.
- Familiarity with browser developer tools.
- Basic knowledge of mobile and responsive testing.
